On Feb. 15 a fundraiser will be held at Bradie Shrum Elementary at 4 p.m. to support an employee of Salem Community Schools.
PJ Beyster is a bus driver for SCS and was recently diagnosed with incurable lung cancer. To take some financial stress off his family, an event has been planned to help raise money.
Dinner will be prepared and will cost $10. They will serve pulled pork, cole slaw, potato salad, dinner roll and drink. There also will be a silent auction. Raffle tickets will be priced at $5 for 1, $20 for 5, $35 for 10.
