Garry "Tuff" Sears
Garry "Tuff" Lee Sears, age 80, of Pekin passed away Monday, December 30, 2024 at his residence. Born September 5, 1944, he was the son of the late Gilbert Sears and Lucille (Voyles) Sears. On March 7, 1969, he married Peggy Sears who survives.
Garry retired from Delta Airlines with 30 years of service and was a member of the Martinsburg Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy; 1 son: Mark Roy Sears (Caryn); 1 daughter: Robin Leigh Goodman (Richard); 1 sister: Patty Roberts; 3 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gilbert and Lucille Sears; and his brother, Larry Sears.
Cremation was chosen, no memorial service has been scheduled at this time. Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home was entrusted with arrangements
