Michael Lynn Beanblossom
Michael Lynn Beanblossom, age 60, of Salem, Indiana, passed away on December 30, 2024. He was a beloved husband, father, son, and friend, whose memory will be cherished by all who knew him.
Michael proudly served his country as a member of the U.S. Army (Active Duty) and the Indiana Army National Guard, as a Sergeant Airborne Ranger.
On September 3, 1994, Michael married the love of his life, Angela Stephenson. Together, they celebrated 30 years of marriage this year, raising two sons, Kaleb and Seth Beanblossom. Michael’s love for his family was evident in everything he did, and he took great pride in supporting and guiding his children as they grew.
A man of many interests, Michael enjoyed hunting, working in his yard, and tending to his flower garden. He was an avid college football fan and had a deep passion for teaching. Michael spent many years as a dedicated high school biology teacher, where he touched the lives of countless students and instilled in them a love for learning.
Michael is survived by his loving wife, Angela; two sons, Kaleb and Seth Beanblossom; his mother, Oletta Harl; and numerous extended family members, friends, and loved ones. His kind spirit and dedication to family will be missed by all who knew him.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Michael’s name to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation at T2T.org, an organization that provides support to first responders and veterans.
As per Michael’s wishes, cremation was chosen, and Swarens Funeral Home is in charge of services. There will be no public visitation.
