Jerry Hurst
Jerry Hurst, 80, of Borden, Passed away on Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at Clark Memorial Hospital. Born January 27, 1944, he was the son of the late Ernest and Lillian May (McKinley) Hurst. On October 4, 1968, he married Sandra (Ferguson) Hurst, who survives.
Jerry retired from GE of Louisville after 35+ years of service, and was a member of the Borden Church of Christ.
Jerry is survived by his wife of 56 years, Sandra; his children: Kelly Jones (Rob) and Jason Hurst (Missi); his 2 brothers: John Hurst and Jack Hurst; a sister, Margie Dixon; and 4 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Sonja Hurst; and 3 sisters.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 21, at 11 a.m. at the Borden Church of Christ, with Richie Folden officiating. Burial to follow at Walnut Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 20, from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m., and on Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of service at the church.
