Edward "Ed" Puite
Edward A. “Ed” Puite, 47, of Pekin, passed away on Monday, December 2, 2024, at Baptist Health Louisville. Born March 4, 1977 in Grand Rapids, Michigan, he was the son of the late Roy Puite and Robin (Fox) Borton.
Edward was a road crew equipment operator for McCrite Milling, and a member of IUOE Local 841.
Edward is survived by his children: Jarrett Simon, Jamie Lynn Simon, Gabby Simon, Jordan Wilson, Adalee Brough and Carissa Shepherd; 2 brothers: Eric Puite and Tony Puite; 2 sisters: Sandra Puite and Tanya DePue; and 2 granddaughters.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, Jason Puite.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 7, at 11 a.m. at Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home – Pekin Chapel. Visitation will be on Friday, December 6, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m, and on Saturday from 10 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
