Gaius Weathers

Gaius Weathers, better known as “Bun”, went to his celestial home to be with his beloved wife, Margaret Ellen, when he passed away @ the age of 101, on July 23, 2024, in Shell Lake, WI. Margaret Ellen preceded Bun and was heavenly sent on Jan. 12th, 2016, also of Shell Lake, WI.

Bun was born to John F. Weathers and Geneva (Zink) Weathers on May 12th, 1923, Salem, IN.
Margaret Ellen was born to Roger F. Taylor and Armintie (Howe) Taylor on April 22nd, 1924, also of Salem, IN. Bun and Margaret Ellen were wed in 1941, and lived a complete and wonderful life for 74 years, and will be missed by family and friends everywhere!

They are survived by Bun’s “little Sis”, Dolores (FL), three sons, Ron/Bonnie(FL), Buddy/Connie(KY), and Tooker/Sue(WI), 11 Grandchildren, 15 Great Grandchildren, and 5 Great-Great Grandchildren.

Their “Celebration of Life” will take place on Friday, Oct. 4th, 2024, @ the Georgetown Christian Church; the visitation from 10 to 11 am, with service following, and then Interment @ Wolfe Cemetery in Georgetown, after which family and friends will return to the church for lunch.

All friends are invited to join the family to honor this very special couple!
