Sally Ann Shaffer, sister, devoted and loving mother, “Grammy” and friend passed away peacefully on June 11, 2024, at 78 years old.

She was born in Campbellsburg, Indiana on July 21, 1945, to Russell Landreth and Kathleen (Cornwell) Landreth.

Sally was a Christian and a member of the Brownsburg Church of Christ. She will be remembered for her love and service to many people. She always came with a listening ear and a warm embrace. She was known for her cookies. She made thousands over many years for anyone and everyone.

She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Lovell Booker; her mother Kathleen (Cornwell) Booker; and her brothers, Don Landreth and Leland Booker.

Sally is survived by her brothers, Robert Booker and Ronnie Booker; son, Shannon (Dana) Shaffer; grandchildren, Emily (Dylan) Culver, Sarah Shaffer, Scott (Grace) Shaffer, and Seth (Kaitlynn) Shaffer; and great-grandchildren, Zion Shaffer and Reina Culver.



Friends and family will gather at Eric M.D. Bell Funeral Home (Pittsboro, IN) for visitation on Thursday, June 20, 2024, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, with the funeral service for Sally beginning at 3:00 pm. The graveside service in Brownsburg Cemetery will immediately follow the funeral service. www.ericmdbellfuneralhome.com
