Mr. Don “Donnie” Marshall Deremiah

Mr. Don “Donnie” Marshall Deremiah, age 67 of Salem, passed away Friday, May 17 at Baptist Health Floyd during a medical procedure.

Donnie was born April 7, 1957, in Salem. The son of Donald Deremiah and Delores Richey Blankenbaker. His hobbies were golfing, concerts and music, bird watching and hanging out with his grandchildren and going to their activities and was a big Stephen King fan. Mr. Deremiah retired from GKN.

Donnie is survived by his fiancé, Dawn Quinlin, his son: Travis Deremiah (Tonya) of Martinsburg, his daughter: Niki Brown (Daniel) of Salem, his mother: Delores Blankenbaker of Scottsburg, two grandchildren: Drake and Kingston Deremiah. He is also survived by his dog, Stormie.

Donnie is preceded by his wife of 43 years “Gina” Farris Deremiah and his father.

Services for Donnie will be on Friday May 24 at 2:00P.M at Weathers Funeral Home. Visitation will be on Thursday evening from 4:00P.M. to 8:00P.M and on Friday from 12:00 until the time of service. Burial will immediately follow the services at Crown Hill Cemetery.
