Barbara Kathleen Elliott

Barbara Kathleen Elliott with her friends and loving family at her side left this world peacefully to go home to Jesus on Sunday, February 23, 2025.

Born November 13, 1930 in Salem, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Ermal "Paul" and Sabre W. (Jones) Smedley.

She graduated with the class of 1950 was a former employee of the old B.F. Goodrich in Salem, worked on the dairy farm and worked many jobs for the Lee Davis Company and retired from Smith Cabinet Company

She loved spending time with her family and her pets. She always enjoyed her flowers and plants.

Survivors include:
Daughter: Terri (Charlie) Johnson of Pleasureville, Kentucky;
Sister: Eva (Virgil) Hurst of Pekin, Indiana;
Son: Roger Elliott of Pekin, Indiana;
Sister-in-law Pat Smedley of Florida;
Penny her dog, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, several nieces and great nieces, nephews and great nephews, along with many cousins.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Rita Elrod, brother's Norman and Gerry Smedley; brother-in-law: Virgil (JR) Hurst; and her Fiancé Dave Elliott.

The services were Private by Invitation Only
