Arnold Eugene Duncan
Arnold Eugene Duncan, age 60, of Livonia, passed away Tuesday, February 18 at Meadow View Health Care and Rehab.
Arnold was born May 28, 1964 in Salem, Indiana the son of John and Oma Roark Duncan.
Arnold was preceded in death by his parents, and step-father: Lloyd Crane, and four brothers: Robert Duncan, Charles R. Duncan, James "Bill" Duncan and John Duncan Jr. He is survived by four sisters: Gloria Marie Fleenor (Orville), Bernice Mims (Jerry), Joanne Roberts and Dawn Rose Boswell (Daniel Busick), several nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews.
Arnold was born with cerebral palsy and was cared for the majority of his life by his loving and selfless mother and then by his loving and devoted brother Bill and sister-in-law, Rita before they passed, as well. Arnold was an Easter Seal Child when he was 5 years old. Even though he could not walk or talk, we believe he understood more than we may ever know. Bill and Rita talked to him like he could understand and maybe he did. They explained to him that he needed to get saved, and they prayed the sinners prayer out loud real slow so he could say it in his heart to God.
Grave side services will be held Tuesday, February 25 at Livonia Cemetery at 11:30AM following a private family viewing.
