Secretary of State Diego Morales attended the 2025 National Association of Secretaries of State (NASS) Winter Conference in Washington D.C., joining colleagues from across the nation to discuss key issues facing states and share best practices in elections, business services, and other vital areas of state governance.
NASS meetings bring together Secretaries of State, national experts, and federal officials to engage in critical discussions on the future of elections, cybersecurity, business services, and state-led initiatives that improve government transparency and service delivery to citizens. During the conference, Secretary Morales participated in a variety of sessions, including those focused on election security and increasing voter participation. Initiatives to collaborate with other state leaders on solutions to emerging challenges were discussed.
Approximately 40 Secretaries and Lt. Governors attended this year’s NASS Winter Conference.
“I’m proud to once again represent Indiana at the NASS Winter Conference and to engage in important conversations with my fellow secretaries of state about strengthening voter integrity and enhancing the services we offer to businesses and Hoosiers. This conference provides a unique opportunity to learn from other states and ensure that Indiana continues to lead in innovation and efficiency,” said Diego Morales, Indiana Secretary of State.
NASS is the nation’s oldest, nonpartisan professional organization for public officials in the U.S.
