On February 1, Jr./Sr. High School students will be going to Winter Jam in Louisville at the KFC Yum Center. The cost is $15, plus money to eat. Please contact Jacqui Hodges if you are interested or have any questions.
February 8 we will be partnering with Lifeline Christian Ministries to pack food for Haiti. The rice-based meals are a shelf-stable, specially formulated combination of vitamins, plant-based proteins, dehydrated vegetables and nutrients that provide, in one serving, about 75% of a child’s daily requirement for a healthy diet. Last year we packed 14,256 meals, and this year our goal is approximately 21,000 meals. We will also take donations towards the cost, which is $.31 per meal.
Youth Sunday will be February 9 with Jr./Sr. High School students taking over all aspects of the service.
The Health Ministry will be conducting blood pressure readings on February 9 during the Sunday school hour in the Gathering Area. The Health Ministry is looking for volunteers to help with the 2025 Health Ministry program. The programs include blood pressure screenings, nutrition and fitness activities, Grief Share groups, and other various health interests. Please see Melissa Moffatt.
