Church News

Richard Keller served as Superintendent and Thelma McDonald played piano.
 
Adult Bible Study continues Wednesday evening at the church fellowship hall.
 
Daylight saving time will end next Sunday at 2:00am when we change our clocks to "fall back."
 
Food pantry collections for three area food pantries will begin next Sunday for the next several weeks.
 
Prayer was requested for Linda Phillips, Stephanie Knight, Brian Lynch, Sue Denton, Lori Sorg, Kay Smith, Grant Oldham, Ralph Ikerd, Don Mahan, Jean Elrod, Richard Keller, Joe and Brenda Brewer, Angie Basinger, Bonetta McDonald's two sisters, and the family of David Riggs. 
 
Elder Barry Bishop led the communion meditation from Mark 14:22-25. Communion was served by Steve Hawkins and Ronnie Lawson; Eugene Denton and Aiden Keller assisted.
 
Brother Phil McDonald's sermon was entitled "The Holy Spirit" from various scriptures.
 
Movie night was enjoyed Sunday evening in the church fellowship hall with a viewing of The Chosen from season 4.
 
The annual Smith Halloween party was held Saturday evening at the John and Kay Smith family farm. Family members enjoyed a costume contest, pitch-in with soup, sides and desserts, wiener roast, scavenger hunt, games, and a hayride. 
 
Celebrating birthdays this week are Allison Hawkins (29th) and Jennifer Keller (31st). Brent and LeAnn Pinnick celebrated an anniversary Oct. 27th.
