WW tripped up by Cougars

Senator Sam lies in defeat after a mascot duel at halftime in what would be a precursor of the end result.

West Washington traveled to North Harrison on Friday night and looked like they would come out with a win after the first quarter, building a 19-10 lead, but the Cougars turned it around in the second quarter outscoring the Senators 24-4 and went on to cruise to the win in the second half 70-48. They will host Loogootee on Saturday night.

Salem and Eastern also played on Friday night. The Lions beat Austin 62-56 while Eastern fell to Mitchell 74-56. Salem and Eastern will square off on Saturday night at Eastern.
