WW softball team wins regional championship

Leading 6-0 in the bottom of the sixth inning, freshman Alandra Johnson stepped up with two outs and the bases loaded and crushed a grand slam home run! 

johnson's shot gave West Washington the 10-0 victory and adds a regional championship to a list of championships that includes the Washington County championship, the PLAC championship, the West Washington Invitational championship and the sectional championship.

The Lady Senators will now set their sights on another championship when they travel to North Daviess Saturday for the two-game semi-state.
