Saturday night’s match ups are set in holiday tournament

On the Tuesday before Thanksgiving, Borden and Eastern played to get the boys' basketball season started. Then, the next night, Salem and West Washington played.

Now, just a week before Christmas, there will be a rematch of those two games in the First Harrison Bank Holiday Tournament Saturday night. The Lions and Senators will face off at 6 p.m. for the consolation prize while the Musketeers and the Borden Braves play at 7:30 for the championship.

Borden advanced to the title game by defeating Salem and Eastern erased a 12-point third quarter deficit to beat the Senators Friday night setting up Saturday's championship showdown.

Tickets are $6 and will get patrons admission to both games. Season passes are not good for the holiday tournament.
