Salem Horseshoe league starts May 6

The Salem Horseshoe League will start 20 weeks of league play on May 6. 

Sign up will be on opening night at 6 p.m. at the Washington County fairgrounds. 

The league follows American Horseshoe Pitchers Association count-all rules. 

The league has two-person teams who compete every Thursday evening in a three-game competition. A person’s handicap is used for scoring.  

Anyone 12-years and over is welcome to participate.

The Washington County pitch in connection with the 2021 Farmers-Merchants Fair will be held Saturday, June 12, and will start at 1 p,m. with the singles tournament followed by a random draw doubles pitch. Everyone is welcome.
