Salem beats Eastern, WW falls to Perry Central

On a chilly night for football, the action on the field was hot in Pekin with the Salem Lions winning in thrilling 47-46 fashion.

Eastern scored with 47 seconds left to. Ut the deficit to one, but couldn't convert the onside kick to get the ball back and Salem ran out the clock.

West Washington suffered a 42-14 loss to Perry Central.
