Luckett hired as new general manager at Salem Speedway

Salem Speedway has hired Glenn Luckett as the new general manager. A press release was sent to local news media announcing the appointment, stating, “Salem native Glenn Luckett has been hired by Salem Speedway owner Nick Bohanon to help manage the iconic racetrack located in Salem, Indiana.”
Luckett started his motorsport management career at Salem Speedway in 1995, remaining at the track as the general manager through the 2000 season. At that time he left to work full time for Champion Racing Association (CRA), which he co-owned with partner, R. J. Scott. They sold the enterprise last January.
“I’m really excited to return to my home track,” remarked Luckett. “Nick contacted me to see if I had an interest in coming back to help him manage the track. It was a great opportunity for me to return to where my motorsports management career started.
