Lady Lions, Lady Senators win

The Salem Lady Lions and the West Washington Lady Senators both picked up wins Thursday night in Indiana high school varsity baskeball action.

Salem won for the second time this year, beating North Harrison 32-24 thanks to a 25-point effort from Sidney Burton.

West Washington rolled to a 94-18 win over Crothersville. That's the most points scored in a game by a Lady Senator team since the 2017-18 season when West Washington defeated Indianapolis Manual 95-39.

West Washington (9-3) will have the weekend off before returning to action Tuesday night against visiting Springs Valley.

Salem will be back on the court Saturday afternoon at Floyd Central.

Eastern plays at home Saturday afternoon against Rock Creek Academy.
