Girls’ high school basketball round

WW wins road game, EHS falls at Borden

The high school girls’ basketball season got started locally Thursday night with both West Washington and Eastern hitting the road.

The Lady Senators traveled to Clarksville, picking up a 52-20 win over the Lady Generals.

West Washington will travel to Linton-Stockton for a Saturday afternoon showdown.

The road wasn’t as kind for the Lady Musketeers as they took a short trip down Highway 60 and found the Lady Braves an unkind hose, falling 57-31.

Eastern is back on the court Saturday night in the home opener against Crawford County.

Salem gets the season started at home Saturday night against visiting Seymour.
