McKenna Jeter (left) and Ali Saunders are two of the best players in the MSC and Friday night they led their teams in a hard-fought battle. Saunders and the Lady Cats got the better of it 38-36.

The Eastern Lady Musketeers got three wide open looks to win Friday night's Mid Southern Conference showdown against visiting North Harrison but couldn't get any to fall.

The Lady Cats extended their winning streak to 10 wins in a row over Eastern and dropped the Lady Musketeers' record to 2-1 on the young season.

Check Tuesday's issue of Thw Salem Leader for a complete recap of the game and see how the other teams in the area did.
