Man killed in early Saturday crash

A Salem man, 46-year-old Tony Mitchell was killed in an accident on 135 North near Spurgeon Road in the early morning hours Saturday.

Another injured in the two vehicle accident was 43-year-old Harley Gilstrap of Salem. Gilstrap was flown by air ambulance to the University of Louisville Hospital.  The crash is still being investigated. For more see Thursday's issue of The Salem Democrat.
