Mr. Wilhelm Egger, age 74, of Salem, passed away Sunday, November 27 at Franciscan Health in Indianapolis.

Mr. Egger was born June 15, 1948 in Corbin, Kentucky the son of Wilhelm Hertzog and Elizabeth Rose Miller Egger. He was the owner of Egger Enterprises Inc. He was a graduate of Durrett High School in Louisville, and the Speed Scientific School University of Louisville. Wilhelm had a BS in Mechanical Engineering. He was awarded P.E. (Professional Engineer) in 1978.

He is survived by his wife: Susan Smedley Egger they were married October 14, 1978. He is also survived by his children: Jason Rosenbaum (Bex) of Naples, Italy, Mia Campbell (Greg) of Piqua, Ohio, David Egger (Stephanie) of Plano, Texas, and Jonathan Egger (Heather) of Alexandria, Kentucky, a brother: John Egger (Jamie) of Louisville, three sisters: Gretchen Price (Peter) of Loveland, Colorado, Helen Critchfield (Milton) of Great Falls, Virginia, and Louise Gillespie (Curtis) of Land of Lakes, Florida, eight grandchildren: Hannah Campbell, Nolan Campbell, Sacha Rosenbaum, Solomon Egger, Asher Egger, Evelyn Egger, Elizabeth Egger, and Violet Rose Egger. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held at 11AM Saturday, December 3 at Weathers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday from 4-8PM and Saturday from 10AM-until time of service.
