Shirley Ann Hamilton

Mrs. Shirley Ann Hamilton, age 89, of Campbellsburg, passed away Friday, September 27, 2019.

Shirley was born September 9, 1930 in Saltillo the daughter of Oral and Ruby Hays Gould.  She was a homemaker and member of Mt. Carmel Christian Church.

Mrs. Hamilton was married September 11, 1948 to Elmer Hamilton, who preceded her in death by just a few hours.  She was also preceded in death by five brothers:  Charles Hays Gould, William Gould, Donn Gould, Keith Gould, and Lawrin Gould, two sisters:  Jean Tolbert and Betty Wineinger, a grandson, and her parents.

She is survived by three sons:  Frankie Hamilton (Sherry) of Salem, Brett Hamilton (Carmie) of Heltonville, and Patrick Hamilton (Kathy) of Campbellsburg, a daughter:  Jan Shelton (Dave) of Borden, 3 grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, 7 step-great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Shirley and Elmer will be held Tuesday at 11:00AM at Mt. Carmel Christian Church.  Burial will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery.  Visitation will be Monday from 4-8PM at Weathers Funeral Home and Tuesday from 10AM-time of service at the church.
