Robert Dale Newby

Robert (Bobby) Dale Newby, age 70 of Phoenix, Arizona passed away Saturday, January 21, 2023 at HonorHealth Deer Valley Medical Center Phoenix.

Born September 18, 1952 in Salem, Indiana. He was the son of the late Denzil M. and Mildred R. (Beck) Newby.

Bobby was retired from Swift Transportation and was a former employee of the old Main Auto Supply and Hypes Auto Parts in Salem.  Formerly of Salem, he had been a resident of Arizona for many years and was a Salem High School Class of 1970 graduate.  Bobby was a senior DeMolay and life member of International Order of DeMolay Salem Chapter. He was a Master Mason and member of Salem Masonic Lodge #21 and was a Kentucky Colonel.

Bobby is survived by his brother: Danny (Sudie) Newby of Salem, two nieces, a great niece and great nephew.

Graveside service will be held on Friday, February 3rd, 2023, 11:00 am at Blue River Friends Church Cemetery, 1931 N Quaker Rd, Salem, IN 47167
