Randy R. Coffman

Randy R. Coffman, 68, of Corydon, died Thursday, April 22, 2021, at his home near Corydon.  He was born August 18, 1952, in Corydon, to the late Charles Henry and Earlene Fern Miller Coffman. 

Randy graduated from CCHS in 1970 and was drafted into the U.S. Army in November 1971.  Upon leaving the military in 1974, he returned home to join his father and brothers in the logging and lumber and timber industry and remained in the business as co-owner of Coffman Woodland Services, Inc. until he retired. 

He married Patty Meadows in 1976 and they were married for 44 years. 

Randy was a good man all of his life, a good husband, father, father in law to Darryl and Frank, and he was a good grandfather to all of his grandchildren.

Randy loved fishing any chance that he could and fished all over the country in several different leagues and tournaments and clubs.  He was a founding member of the New Amsterdam Boat Club.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister, Thelma Crosier.

Survivors include his wife, Patty Marie Meadows Coffman; his son Randy Coffman, II of Corydon; his daughters, Leah Daily (Darryl) of Corydon and Chrystal Adams (Frank) of Marksville, Louisiana; his grandchildren, Savannah McGuirk (Joey), Logan Daily, Ethan Adams, Kallie Adams (Evan Brouillette), Hadley Adams, and Rainelle Coffman; his great grandchildren, Eden Grace and Abel James McGuirk; his brothers, Sammy Coffman, Alan Coffman (Cathy), and Dallas Coffman all of Corydon; his brother in law, Bob Crosier of Mauckport; and many loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, April 26, 2021, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Sunday and after 10:00 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.

The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to Wesley Chapel Cemetery Fund near Mauckport.
