Norma Jean Wilson

Norma Jean Wilson, 77, Scottsburg, died at Scott Memorial Hospital on Friday, Feb. 19, 2021.

She was born on May 29, 1943, in Scott County, to Harry Misamore and Eva (Waldon) Misamore Cravens, who both preceded her in death.

On May 6, 1960, in Jeffersonville, Norma married Robert B. Wilson who survives in Scottsburg.

Norma was a member of Little York Christian Church. She owned and operated Z & L Furniture and Unique Treasures with her daughter Sherry. She also worked at Conn Organ in Madison, and at Morgan Foods in Austin.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Sherry Gilbert and Lesia (Jerry Hamilton) Wilson, both of Scottsburg; three grandchildren, Amber (Brian) Creech, Charlestown, Zachary (Ashley) Riley, Crothersville and Adam Hamilton, Scottsburg; three great-granddaughters, Alli, Zoey, and Ada Riley, all of Crothersville; two brothers, Harry (Kim) Misamore, Salem and her twin brother, Donald (Dorothy) Misamore, Scottsburg.

She was preceded in death by her son, Mark Wilson; siblings, Edward Misamore, Carl Misamore, Robert Misamore, Martha Reynolds, Georgina Barrett and Goldie Campbell.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2021, at Adams Family Funeral Home and Crematory Scottsburg, with burial to follow at Zoah Christian Church Cemetery.

Friends and family may visit from 4 until 8 p.m. on Tuesday and after 9a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home
