Naomi Hawn

Naomi Hawn, 87, Little York, died on Sept. 8, 2021, at Scottsburg. Born March 23, 1934, in Campbellsville, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Robert Jacobs and Bertha Caulk Jacobs. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Hawn.

Naomi graduated from Salem High School in 1953. She was a member of Little York United Methodist Church. She retired in 1994 as a teller at Scott County State Bank (now WesBanco). Naomi enjoyed quilting, gardening, canning. She led singing at church for at least 50 years and served as the church treasurer for 40 plus years.

Survivors include three daughters: Connie (Rick) Reeves, Janice (Steve) Clem and Nancy (Lary) Cropper; five grandchildren: Brian Reeves, Kyle Lawrence Reeves, Joey (Tony) Clark, SFC Daniel (Mandie) Clem and Jonathan Cropper; and four great-grandchildren: Jackson Clark, Eli Clark, Nella Clem and Aria Clem.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Visitation will be held Sunday, Sept. 12, from 2 to 6 p.m. and Monday, Sept. 13, from 9 a.m. to time of service at 11 a.m. at Stewart & Hoagland Funeral Home in Scottsburg. Burial will follow in Little York Cemetery.
