Marvin "Rocky" Lee Wells
Marvin "Rocky" Lee Wells, age 65, of Salem passed away Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at Baptist Health Floyd Hospital in New Albany. Born April 21, 1957, he was the son of the late Clifton Wells and Betty (Markley) Wells who survives. On May 27, 2003, he married Vickie (Still) Wells who survives.
Rocky was employed with Naval Service Warfare Center, Crane Division with 30+ years of service; he was a Navy veteran; and enjoyed playing in multiple pool leagues in his free time.
He is survived by his wife, Vickie Wells; his mother, Betty Wells; 2 children: Heather Wells and Michael Wells; 1 sister, Dee Dee Allen; and 1 grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his father, Clifton Wells; and 1 brother.
Services will be held Friday, March 17, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. at Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home-Salem Chapel with Tom Fultz officiating. Visitation will be held Friday from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
