Lorene Stewart

Lorene Stewart, age 73 of Salem, passed away Friday, February 12, 2021 at 9:39 am, in her residence. 

Born February 25, 1947 in London, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Susan J. (Helton) Hubbard.

She had been a life resident of Washington County, was a homemaker, a good one! and was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church.

On August 30, 1969 she married  Homer M. Stewart Jr., who survives.

Also surviving are: 4 Sons: Joseph Stewart, Jeffrey Stewart, James (Rebecca) Stewart and Jason (Carolyn) Stewart;  3 Brothers: Charles (Bobbie) Hubbard, Larry (Linda) Hubbard and John (Rhonda) Dugger; 1 Sister: Maxine (Danny) Perry; 4 Stepsisters: Faye Droud, Rose Lee, Ruby (Glenn) Pardue and Patricia (Bobby);  2 Stepbrothers: Willis Dugger and Morse (Barb) Dugger; 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. 

Funeral Service: 1:00 pm Tuesday at Dawalt Funeral Home, followed by interment in Olive Branch Cemetery.
Visitation: 10 am until the time of the service on Tuesday.
