Leon “Doc” Toliver, 94, of French Lick, Indiana entered into eternal rest on Saturday, March 6th, 2021 at Springs Valley Meadows, French Lick, Indiana.

He was born in Orange County, Indiana on November 30th, 1926 to John Andrew Toliver, MD and Amanda “Whittinghill” Toliver.

Leon married Annabell Kerns on January 13th, 1950 and she survives.

He was preceded in death by his Parents; (1) Brother – John and (1) Sister – Betty Lee.

Leon was a 1944 graduate of French Lick High School and proudly serviced his country in the United States Army.

Following his discharge from the Army, he attended Butler University in their watch repair program.

He and his wife Annabell worked side by side as owners of Toliver’s Jewelry in French Lick for 55 years.

He was a member of French Lick Masonic Lodge F&AM 586 for over 63 years and American Legion Post 76.

Leon enjoyed his family and working on his tree farm in Orangeville.

He is survived by: (2) Daughters Judy Reasor Salem, Indiana; Patty Riley (Pat) West Lafayette, Indiana

(7) Granddaughters Amanda McKinney, Katie Riley, Rachel Palacio, Beth Bowsman, Heidi Tankersley,

Megan Lowe and Sarah Colbert. (17) Great-Grandchildren

FUNERAL CEREMONY

A Funeral Ceremony will be conducted by Dave Colbert on Wednesday, March 10th, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home with burial to follow at Ames Chapel Cemetery.

VISITATION

Visitation for family and friends will be Wednesday, March 10th, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.

A Masonic Service will be held at 12:00 Noon.

Due to the Coronavirus Pandemic, guests are required to wear masks and practice social distancing (6 feet or more). If you are showing symptoms of illness (fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting or diarrhea) please do not attend. Thank you for your cooperation during the difficult times.
