Jodie “Jo” Raye Williams

Jodie “Jo” Raye Williams, 39, of Scottsburg, IN, passed away at her home with her family by her side on Wednesday, October 13, 2021.

Jo was born on Thursday, December 31, 1981, along with her twin sister, Jennifer, at Norton’s Hospital in Louisville, KY to David MCDonley and Linda Lee (Stark) McDonley, both who preceded her in death.

Jo was a high school graduate of the Stratford Career Institute. She enjoyed crafts, reading, writing poems, but more than anything else, she loved music. It was her life.

On June 26th, 2014, Jo married Elizabeth “Jay” (Robison) Williams in Salem, IN in Jo’s mother’s living room.

Jo is survived by her wife, Jay Williams of Scottsburg, IN, her only daughter, Laurel Johnson of Scottsburg, IN, her siblings, Danny Williams of Louisville, KY, Kristie (Chris) Black of Corydon, IN, her twin sister, Jennifer (Warren) Gravel of Salem, IN, her best friend, Michael Stevens of OH, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by 1 brother, Sean McDonley and 2 sisters, Robyn & Amy Williams.

Cremation services have been entrusted to Adams Family Funeral Homes & Crematory-Scottsburg.
