Jimmy Richardson

Jimmy Richardson, age 68 of New Salisbury, Indiana passed away Monday, May 9, 2022 at 6:58 pm, in Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, Indiana. 
Born August 1, 1953 in Salem, Indiana, he was the son of Dewey E. Richardson  and Mae (Brown) Richardson.
Life resident of Washington County where he attended the Salem United Methodist Church and the Salem Lions Clubs.  He received his Associates' degree from IVY Tech in Industrial Maintenance and he traveled all over the U.S. while he worked as a long haul truck driver.  Jimmy loved cats and butterflies the most. 

On April, 7th 2001 he married Myra (Harris) Richardson, who survives.
He is also survived by:
3 sons: Justin (Tiffanie) Richardson; Adam (Erika) Richardson and Chris (Gabrielle) Kellams of New Salisbury, Indiana;
2 brothers: Rick (JoAnn) Richardson of Salem; Mark (Whitney) Richardson of Brownsburg, Indiana and a sister: Sherrill (Fred) Perry of Brownstown, Indiana; his grandchildren: Logan, Connor, Cassie(Addison), Kylie and Jacob.  
He was preceded in death by his father and 1 sister: Karen Richardson.

Visitation: 4 to 7 pm Thursday at Dawalt Funeral Home. 
Funeral Service: 7:00pm Thursday at Dawalt Funeral Home with Rev. Reg McCutcheon officiating.
