Jerry R. McPheeters Sr.

Mr. Jerry R. McPheeters Sr., age 83, of Salem, passed away Monday, January 23 at St. Vincent Salem Hospital.

Mr. McPheeters was born October 13, 1939 in Salem the son of Johnny Glen and Dessie Mae Lovell McPheeters. He was a retired Truck Driver. He was a member of Big Springs Church of Christ. He was a United States Army, Airforce, and Indiana Army National Guard Veteran.

He is survived by his wife: Nancy Lampton McPheeters they were married February 20, 1965. He is also survived by two sons: Jerry R. McPheeters Jr. of Pekin, and Scott McPheeters of Connersville, a daughter: Kathy Dunn (Kenny) of Fredericksburg, a sister: Glenda Sue Lee of Salem, 7 grandchildren: Tony Austin McPheeters (Mandy) , Kelsey Rae Sanders (Jerry), Kenny Joe Dunn Jr., Colton Ray McPheeters, Jenna Mae Marquand (Brian), Alexis Lee McPheeters, and Mackenzie Dawn McPheeters, and 3 great-grandchildren: Braden Anthony White, Aiden Ray Marquand, and Peyton Renee Sanders.

He is preceded in death by two brothers: Larry D. McPheeters, and Roger McPheeters, and a sister: Norma McPheeters.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00P.M., Thursday, January 26 at Weathers Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 10AM-until time of service.
