Fannie Bentley

Fannie June Bentley, 76, Depauw, died Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2021, at Norton Hospital in Louisville. She was born on March 2, 1944, in Neon, Kentucky. Fannie married John B. Bentley on Oct. 02, 1971.

She was a member of Charity Baptist Church in Central Barren. Fannie worked as a seamstress for several companies in New Albany. She enjoyed cooking, visiting with friends on the phone, sharing time with the ladies at her church, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Fannie is preceded in death by her parents, and one daughter, Autumn Kay Bentley.

She is survived by her husband; one son, Jesse (Ashley); three grandchildren, Gabby, Chloe, Gracie; one brother, Chester; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 23. Visitation will be held on the same day from 10 a.m. until time of service.

Due to Covid restriction of no more than twenty-five allowed at a gathering, a live stream of the service will begin at 2 p.m. on Love Funeral Home’s Facebook page. Interment will be at Palmyra Cemetery.
