Donald Joe Pickerill

Donald Joe Pickerill, age 69, of Pekin passed away Monday, August 19^th at Baptist Floyd Hospital.

Donald was born February 24^th, 1955, in Pekin, Indiana to Charles and Geraldine Pickerill. Donald graduated from Pekin (Eastern) High School in 1973 and worked for Tyson foods for several years before opening his own hunting store (Cedar Creek Outdoors) in Pekin.

A devoted father and cherished grandfather, Donnie is survived by his two sons, Seth (Kaila) of Floyds Knobs and Ethan (Melissa) of Henryville, two beloved grandsons, Ryker and Charlie. He is also survived by his brothers David and Dennis Pickerill, and his sister Nancy Dietrich (Dan). Preceded in death by two sisters, Virginia Chinn(J) and Patricia Prichard. His family was his pride and joy, and he enjoyed every moment spent with them. He loved hunting and fishing with family, friends, and riding motorcycles.

A memorial service will be held on Friday August 30^th at 7 PM. The service will be held at Big Spring Church of Christ in Pekin.
