David Seymour Beswick

David Seymour Beswick, 74, Hardinsburg, died at his home on Monday, Jan. 16, 2023.

Dave was born in New Albany on April 22, 1948, to Seymour B. and Helen Louise (Scharf) Beswick.

He was a member of the Palmyra United Methodist Church.

David worked and retired as a self-employed salesman. He earned a B.A. in Theological studies. He was the founder and director of New Life Training Center in New Albany.

Dave is survived by his brother, Joe (Frankie) Beswick; two sisters, Patricia (Jerry) Blackman and Theresa Ann (Robert) McLeid; two stepsons; one step-grandson; as well as several nieces and nephews.  

He is preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Vickey Mahoney and Pamela Morris.

Funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 19, 2023, at Love Funeral Home in Palmyra. Visitation will be on the same day from 1 p.m. until time of service at Love Funeral Home. Cremation was chosen.
