David Edwin Calvin Jr.
David Edwin Calvin, Jr., age 61, of Salem passed away Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at his residence. Born March 2, 1962 in Ft. Belvoir, Virginia, he was the son of the late David Calvin, Sr. and Alice (Elliott) Smith who survives.
David was a retired welder at Tower Automotive in Corydon.
He is survived by his mother, Alice Smith; son, Christopher Calvin; fiance, Sandi Knapp; and brother, Daniel Calvin.
He was preceded in death by his father, David Calvin, Sr.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, May 27, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. at Southern Hills Church with Steve Irwin officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at the church. Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home was entrusted with funeral care.
