Dale William Lagle

Dale William Lagle, 85, of Scottsburg, IN, passed away at 4:45 PM on October 14, 2021 at Scott Memorial Hospital in Scottsburg, IN.

Dale was  born on Saturday July 11, 1936, in Fredericksburg, IN to William Fredrick Lagle and Ozeline (Miller) Lagle, who both preceded him in death.

On March 31, 1957 Dale married Mary Ann (Shackelford) Lagle at the Salem Church of Christ, in Salem, IN.

Dale graduated from Pekin Eastern High School in 1955. He was a steel fabricator for over 30 years at The Logan Company of Louisville, KY, and finished up his career at Kelley Bros in Indianapolis, IN. His team and himself were one of the teams that built conveyors for Eli Lilly.

Dale loved his machine work, guns, boating, and chopping firewood with his dogs. He loved to keep his 1997 Dodge truck polished and clean, and when you couldn’t find him in the garage you could find him out in the woods sitting on a tree stump with their two white german shepards.

Survivors include his loving wife of 64 years Mary Ann (Shackelford) Lagle of Scottsburg, IN, 1 daughter, Dorrisann Ng of Indianapolis, IN, 1 son, Warren Dale Lagle of Scottsburg, IN, 1 grandson, Corey Dale Lagle of Scottsburg, IN, 1 sister, Ruthann (Gary) Souder of Topeka, KS.

Pastor Phil LaMaster and brother in law Gary Souder will conduct funeral services on Wednesday October 20, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Adams Family Funeral Homes & Crematory in Scottsburg, IN, with burial to follow at Clark/New Chapel Cemetery.

Family and friends may visit on October 20, 2021 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Adams Family Funeral Homes & Crematory in Scottsburg, IN.

Memorial donations may be given to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation ℅ Adams Family Funeral Homes & Crematory 138 Westavia Blvd. Scottsburg, IN 47170
