Curtis Davidson

Curtis Davidson, 69, of Trenton, Ohio, died on Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2021, at his daughter's residence. He was born on Dec. 28, 1951, in Hyden, Kentucky, the son of the late Noah and Mary Elizabeth (Collins) Davidson.

Curt was a retired coal miner from Leeco Coal Company in Hyden, where he worked for 20 years and a member of the Keister Road Church of God in Germantown, Ohio. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Georganna Davidson; second wife, Charlene "Sue" Davidson; two sons, Melvin Douglas and Curtis Douglas Davidson; a grandson, Matthew Douglas Davidson; five brothers, Marcus, Clemoth, Walter, Tensley and Kermit Davidson and two sisters, Zela Davidson and Martha Emma Napier.

Survivors include his daughter, Rhonda (Jon) Vernon of Little York; a stepson, Shane Montgomery of Hamilton, Ohio; a stepdaughter, Shanee Reynolds of Middletown, Ohio; three brothers, Bill Davidson and Thermon Davidson, both of of Thousand Sticks, Kentucky and his twin, Carl Davidson of Hamilton; a sister, Helen Guthrie of Hamilton; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service was held on Friday, Jan. 15, at Collins Funeral Home with burial in Crown Hill Cemetery in New Washington, Indiana. Memorial Contributions may be given to the Curtis Davidson Tribute Fund to help with funeral expenses.
