Carrie Weathers

Carrie Weathers, 87, of Scottsburg, Indiana passed away on Monday, July 26, 2021 at Hampton Oaks Health Campus in Scottsburg, Indiana. She was born on June 27, 1934 in Barbourville, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Jason Walker Carnes and Bertie (Hensley) Carnes. She was a member of the Vienna Baptist Church in Scottsburg, Indiana. Carrie loved taking care of her family and being a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Hazel Smith. Her survivors include three sons, Gerald (Denise) Smith of Magnolia, Texas, Elmer (Karen) Smith of Terre Haute, Indiana, and Larry (DeDe) Smith of Austin, Indiana; two daughters, Vickie (Tom) Wagner of Louisville, Kentucky, and Carol (Terry) Alexander of Scottsburg, Indiana; thirteen grandchildren; and eighteen great grandchildren. Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, July 29, 2021 at Collins Funeral Home with Pastor David Carroll officiating.
