Brenda L. Morris

Brenda L. Morris, 72, passed away Thursday, June 1^st, 2023 at her home in Salem Indiana.

Brenda was born March 3, 1951, in Scott County Indiana. The daughter of Roger Alexander, Delores Faye Reinhardt Tye and Kenneth Ray Tye. She was a member of the Crossroads Baptist Church and the American Legion Post 41.

Brenda was preceded in death by her husband, Alton Dean Morris. They were married May 17, 1969. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Roger Alexander, Delores Faye Reinhardt Tye and Kenneth Ray Tye. Also preceded in death by two brothers: Robert Alexander and Roger Alexander, and two sisters: Pamela Morris and Linda Roll.

Brenda is survived by two daughters: Deanna Morris of Mumfordsville, TN and Tina Sidwell of Salem Indiana, four grandchildren: Rodney Gaddis, Glenn Gaddis, Bailey Sidwell and Hailey Sidwell, four great grandchildren: Lennon Godfrey, Ezra Gaddis, Sawyer Warren and Eliza Sidwell. Three brothers: Roy Alexander of Salem, Windell Tye of Salem, Clarence Tye of Salem and two sisters: Kathy Royalty of Franklin, Indiana and Jeannie Mitchell of Salem.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. Visitation will be held before the funeral service from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will follow the service at Franklin Cemetery immediately following the service.
