In Loving Memory of Barbara L. "Barbie" Spicer

Barbara L. "Barbie" Spicer, age 65, of Salem, Indiana, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, January 18, 2024, at 10:00 PM. She was born on March 6, 1958, in Seymour, Indiana, to Forest Waples and Jessie Elizabeth (White) Waples, both of whom preceded her in death.

Barbie most recently worked at Salem Crossing as a Certified Nurses Assistant, dedicating herself to caring for others. She married the love of her life, Robert Q. "Bob" Boggess, on December 2, 2006, in Scottsburg, Indiana. Together, they shared a bond filled with love and companionship.

She was a proud graduate of Jennings County High School in 1976.

Known for her spunky spirit, kindness, and loving nature, Barbie leaves behind a legacy of a life well-lived. She is survived by her devoted husband, Robert Q. "Bob" Boggess of Salem, Indiana, and their three children: Elizabeth "Jay" Robison of Scottsburg, Indiana, Michelle (Dave) Kucirka of Okinawa, Japan, and Jason (Baleigh) Spicer of Seymour, Indiana. Barbie is also remembered fondly by her six grandchildren.

She is survived by her two sisters, Thelma (Steve) Tomlinson of Scipio, Indiana, and Brenda (Tom) Klingner of Dallas, Texas.
