Wacky Olympics at Bunker Hill

Bunker Hill Christian Church kicked off their Vacation Bible School with a night of Wacky Olympics, with special guests, 30 local Special Olympics athletes. Approximately 200 people braved the hot temperatures and converged at the church Sunday evening.

There was a meal, followed by the outdoor games, complete with a friendly fire department battle. Members of each department, Franklin Township from Washington County and Monroe Township for Scott County, along with some assistance from those in attendance, used water from the fire hoses for a tug of war, of sorts. Monroe claimed bragging rights, winning best of three rounds.

The church followed the night of fun with bible school, Monday until Thursday.
