Turn that frown upside down

Smile for the camera. Almost every parent of a child who loses a tooth, especially the two front ones, memorializes the occasion with a photo. How about the precious first tooth? Of course, it gets a picture for the baby book. And when the braces come off, who doesn’t like showing off their new perfect smile with a photo? It doesn’t even have to be momentous, maybe your child has a naturally, beautiful smile or perhaps a mischevious smile. Send them all.

Leader Publishing Company has a place where you can share these smile-worthy photos. February is National Children’s Dental Health Month and we would like readers to send us photos of their children’s smiles.

Simply email them to lana@salemleader.com, text them to 812-620-8557 or drop them by the office at 117 E. Walnut Street. Be sure to include the child’s name, age, parents name(s) and a contact number. Deadline for submissions is 5 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 21.
