No one injured in semi truck accident Saturday night

State Road 60 West at Deer Run and Public roads was closed for awhile on Saturday night after a semi-truck overturned. The Washington County Sheriff’s Deparment reported no injuries in the accident, but before uprighting the truck, the load had to be offloaded before the trailer could be disconnected.

The road remained closed for approximately six hours. The trailer was then loaded onto a flat lowboy, that was then escorted through town by the sheriff’s department, due to it being an oversized load.

The Salem Fire Department assisted on the scene as did conservation officer Neal Brewington.
