Movie night at John Hay Village

The John Hay Center will hold the first in an outdoor movie series this Saturday evening in the Pioneer Village. With the assistance and support of Indiana University, the classic movie, ‘Madison’ will be shown, free of charge, in the Pioneer Village at 9 p.m, July 17. Charitable donations will be accepted for the Save the Hay House Capital Campaign. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy the show under the stars.

The facility will open for the event at 8 p.m., to allow everyone to find a great seat. $5 movie meals, including a hot dog, chips and a drink will be available onsite, with proceeds going to the Washington County Capital Campaign to Save the Hay House. Of course, popcorn will also be available for the moviegoers!

In the event of rain, the movie will be shown inside The Depot auditorium. Parking will be in The Depot lot and outside coolers are not allowed. Don’t forget to bring a comfortable chair!
