This year's Old Settlers' Days will be October 5 & 6.

It is an annual free public festival that was first established in 1875 to commemorate and honor the pioneers who settled the wilderness lands of the Indiana Territory that would eventually become Washington County.

Old Settlers' Days takes place on the grounds of the John Hay Center, 307 East Market Street, Salem, at the Pioneer Village. It features a variety of historical elements, food, arts and crafts and kid's activities.
