Garden tour Saturday and Sunday

The Good Earth Master Gardeners of Washington County will be hosting a garden tour on Saturday, June 19, and Sunday, June 20.

There will be nine gardens to enjoy, along with a stop at Silver Fox Cafe on Saturday.

Tickets, featuring art work by Rosanne Quatroke, can be purchased prior to Saturday at Loy and Fordyce Insurance, Merle Norman Cosmetics and Silver Fox Cafe. The day of the event, tickets can be picked up at Salem City Hall. All participants will need to pick up a map at city hall. Saturday hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and 1 to 4 p.m. on Sunday.

There will be something for everyone. Jana Ewen, a Master Gardener and one of the organizers, said, “We have a wide variety of gardens, from a daylily collector to landscaped countrysides, woodland gardens and a backyard oasis.”
